Denise at Edinburgh Castle

Having actually had a computer crash a year ago, and not being able to recover any of the 100s of photos that were on it, I definitely can see that having photos stored on something like Flickr is not a bad idea. Live and learn.

What a great picture! When did you go to Scotland? Was it wonderful? Sorry to hear about all the pictures you lost on your old computer. I guess I'd never really thought about that happening. It makes me realize I'd better store mine elsewhere, just in case.
I love that you have your own personal slideshow on your blog. Hmm, digital pictures seem like a better idea all the time.
Sorry to hear that you lost all your pictures, though.
Losing all those pictures was definitely a "should have known better" moment. Of course now there's a separate backup thing attached to the computer that backs up everything all the time. Hopefully others can learn from my mistake! Luckily the Scotland trip was in 2000... pre-digital. So they're all in albums... slowly being scanned into the computer though. Yep, Scotland was very wonderful. I want to go back sometime in the next few years. Still lots of castle ruins yet to be seen!
